Simple solution to prevent unconscious mask takeoff during night
There are quite a few posts about unintentional mask removals overnight. The solution below prevents you from bending your arms;  hence,  you cannot remove your mask. Please do not use it together with mouth taping to avoid puke-induced suffocation.

Take a cardboard sheet the same length as the distance between your armpit and wrist. Form a tube with a wall made of multiple layers of cardboard with a smaller diameter than your palm's. Secure the tube with some rubber bands. Pull the tubes on your arms. The tubes should not be tight. You will realize that it is pretty complicated to remove them, and they will prevent you from touching your face or mask while you are asleep.

You could just wear mittens on your hands?

I've never once removed my CPAP mask unintentionally at night. Matter-of-fact, the very 1st night of CPAP use, I responded as if I'd been at it for years.

I was concerned that I adapted so easily that I was doing something wrong.  Rolleyes

It sounds like it could work. Kudos on the ingenuity.

I went through a phase of sometimes taking my mask off, and I sometimes do so now, when I think I’ve woken up in the morning. Those are also times when the pressure is highest and I’m very active in my sleep.

I cannot take credit for it. It was used in old Europe to discourage kids from thumb-sucking overnight.
