RE: CPAP And Travel - Hose Protection?
I am an over-packer, so I don't have room to put a CPAP in my luggage nor carry on. I love the fact that it is a medical device, and thus doesn't count as a carry on (but I can carry it on)! Nobody has given me any trouble about it.
The ResMed 10 has a fantastic case. I have zero worries of the pieces being damaged. I carry it on, and place it in an above head compartment where it won't get crushed.
I specifically bought a ResMed 10 as my backup/travel machine *because* the case for my DreamStation was such a joke.
The DreamStation's case is only slightly better than a paper bag. If I had to travel with my DS, I would definitely worry about pieces breaking.
