[CPAP] Mask choices

Mask choices
Heya! I'm still new at this. When I went to the MDE I was given a choice of mask but..was told not to try pillows at least at first because a lot of people seem to not do well with them at high pressures.
I was given a
Resmed Aircurve 10 VAuto machine
Resmed N20 mask

I was given the large headgear with the large mask which was too large. the next day I was able to get a medium but apparently I continued to dislodge it and knock it free to get what seem to be massive leaks. Do you have any suggestions for a semi-active sleeper who sleeps on his side and sometimes front? (I can aim down and slightly right off my pillow to facedown with my vent uncovered just fine)

Also I'm having issues where..the first night I felt hot throughout my body..second night I sweat heavily but my face felt slightly slightly damp, like maybe from teh cold air int he room and the masks warm air from the leak? I'm unsure..

May I have any/all suggestion of how to fix and what mask I should go for? I'm going back on saturday to deal with it

Check this link out. It will guide you on selecting a mask.

As far as the wetness and heat you should try turning down the humidifier temp.

RE: Mask choices
If you're new to this, it can take a while to figure out exactly what works for you. You might have to try several masks, types and models. It can also take a while to figure out how to control leaks, how much to cinch the mask down, what comfort features to add (e.g. mask liners and strap padding). All of these can make the difference between a mask working for you or not.

If you'd like to see the range of masks (and look at how they might sit on your face), look closely at the masks on Supplier #1. You can even use a "compare" feature.
