Need Help with AirSense Autoset for Her
I just purchased the ResMed Airsense 10 AutoSet for Her device.
It was touted as "designed to respond to female-specific characteristics of sleep apnea."
However, the clinician set it on an Automatic 7 pressure and would not turn on the Autoset for Her feature, since my doctor didn't write it on the prescription. He wrote the prescription because I needed one to get the new device, and was going off of a 9 1/2 year old sleep study.
I would like to try this Autoset For Her feature rather than the one she preset.
What is the best way to change this over?
I've seen your posts about how to change the pressure, but I'm not sure the "Autoset for Her" would be the same procedure.
I've been using a CPAP for 25 years...automatic leaf blower that it is...and I know there must be a way...
Thanks for any help you can give.
Vicki

See the CPAP Setup Manuals link above. Get the clinician's manual for your machine and set it up the way you want.

As Chill said, see "CPAP set up manuals". I set my Autoset for Her myself. My doctor had it on 4-20 and that was definitely the wrong setting for me.
Welcome!

once you get the manual, there are mode settings for CPAP, AUTO and for her. then input the pressure range you want (min and max), you can also read about EPR and play with that also-I always used it
