See if you can get the S9 Elite, or the Philips Respironics System One Remstar Pro (model 450P or 460P) for a price you can afford. Getting a data-capable machine is something that will increase the effectiveness of your therapy. You'll be able to adjust the pressure to the setting that works best for you, and readjust it later if need be.

After my awesome introductory sessions with the REMstar SE, I don't want to touch that series ever again. Let's see. I stashed all my handouts and printed (clinician) info in a binder along with a side by side comparison chart.
In the AutoSet but not the Elite

Auto w/ EPR
Adjustable Min/Max pressure
Enhanced AutoSet Algorithm

Actually we may have an option.
IF I can trade the Escape model in, we have a bad little girl on our hands. We bought her an expensive Christmas present costing hundreds of dollars. BUT... she has gotten in deep fecal matter this week for swearing at a teacher - and then denying it. I talked it over with my wife and she said that it just may be worth it to take the present back and.... treat myself.
