I'm going to give you a suggestion that is pretty far out, but might be worth a try. There is a lot of instability in your breathing that may be central in nature. This is often caused by high pressures disrupting the normal balance of CO2, which affects respiratory drive. Enhanced Expiratory Rebreathing Space (EERS) may offer a solution. If you would like to "McGyver" an EERS on your current mask, we can talk about how to go about it.
