RE: Sudden Increase in AHI Score
Here is a 3 minute zoom from a night back in July before my problem started with the high AHI's and clusters.

RE: Sudden Increase in AHI Score
I am still struggling with my problem where my AHI suddenly increased back in August. 2 nights ago my AHI was 8.4 and last night it was 5.8. I was looking at my flow rate from last night and noticed that it looked like my breathing at times was waxing and waning. I hadn't really noticed this before. If someone would take a look at it and let me know if this is abnormal. One chart is early in the night, one in the middle and one about 1 hour before waking up.

Thanks,
Mark

RE: Sudden Increase in AHI Score
The many years I have been using CPAP, my apneas normally last any where from 10 to 40 seconds. Occasionally I might have one last about 60. Here in the last week on 2 different nights I had one last 80 and one that lasted 90 seconds. This long of an apnea of not breathing cannot be good on the body. The other thing is, on both of these apneas, the pressure did not increase till after the apnea was over. Is this normal? I thought that was the whole purpose of the machine was to help with air supply during the apnea. I have posted charts of both of these events.

RE: Sudden Increase in AHI Score
Can't help you much with that monster OA, but the UA looks like your mask came off and the machine had no idea what was going on for a little while. The leak rate is off the chart, so it can't tell if anything is going into your lungs or you're just using it like a leaf blower.
