Different pressure for different type mask?

Different pressure for different type mask?
I was using a Dreamware full mask with pressure 8-12 and recently changed to an Airtouch F20. With the Airtouch with the same settings I see I am bouncing off the 12 max. Should I change the pressure settings for the new mask? The first attachment is the Dreamware and the second is the Airtouch.

RE: Different pressure for different type mask?
The pressure increases on the second night are the result of flow limitations that were not present the first night. I doubt they are associated with the mask change. I suggest you turn on EPR full time at 2 which will reduce flow limitations and hypopnea and will also be more comfortable. Your CA events may increase with EPR so please watch that and post again.

I'd agree with Melman, add EPR 2 and review the OSCAR data. And there's more flow limits on the night with your new mask, the F20. There's also a lot less leaks with the F20, so there's a chance you were less than optimally treated with the other mask.

Add EPR 2
I'd consider increasing Max from 12 to 14
Review OSCAR and post with how you feel with the change.

I raised the EPR to 2 and left pressure at 8-12 wearing the Airtouch. My CA's went up but the pressure is not bouncing off 12 anymore. Sleep seemed better with EPR off. Next I will try to raise pressure to 14 with EPR off.

You can't rely on a single night's data to determine if a change of settings is working for you. You need to leave the settings alone for several days and then look for trends in the data.

Masks are all different and you WELL experience a different result despite the tech 'stats' say. I'm now using my old original respironics comfort classic mask that works way better than the so called "upgrade". For some reason it's better. Even software 'upgrades' don't always work better than what you had.

That's what I was thinking as: with auto set 8-12 my Dreamware Nasal the max pressure was 10-11, with the auto set at 8-12 my Dreamwear Full Mask the max pressure was 11-12, and with the auto set on 8-14 the Airtouch F20 the max hits 14. All had the EPR off.
