Displayed chart headings are overwriting value ranges shown at left of each chart

Displayed chart headings are overwriting value ranges shown at left of each chart
New to CPAP and OSCAR.  When I look at the various views available for the individual graphs, the name of each one, which is vertical in bold font and is sideways, is not just to the left of the graph.  Instead, it is "on top of" the high to low value range that appears in regular typeface rather than in bold, for each of the numerous graphs.  How can I fix the appearance by moving these titles off to the left side of the graphs to which they apply, in the space where they belong?  As presently constituted it is difficult to read them since it's one set of characters on top of another, and it's impossible to read the numeric range values beneath, which they are covering.  Thanks!

You can't move the titles, but you can change or reduce the font in the Preferences section. I personally change to a narrow font and reduce its size too.

RE: Displayed chart headings are overwriting value ranges shown at left of each chart
Hello again, Red.  I found Preferences, then Appearance and changed the graph titles to Tw Ten Condensed as well as reduced the font size to 6.  So now they're barely noticeable.  They are really unnecessary because the graph title is also displayed above the left edge of each graph.  However, I'm still mystified.  I compared the parameters for Appearance with my wife's OSCAR software setup for that parameter and they are identical!  Meanwhile, the "sideways" vertical display of her graph titles is displaced from the start of the graphs to the left, so they do not trample upon the range that is shown for each graph.  If there's no way to actually move these out of the way, I'll just leave them minimized as described above, but it's certainly strange that they appear one way on my computer and then properly on hers.  Thanks for once again promptly coming to my aid and at least recommending if not a cure, then a fix that is functionally equally effective.

Red, et. al., as this continues to nag me, as per the general instructions I have removed the pie chart, calendar, etc. and took screenshots of the Daily and Overview pages as they appear on my computer.  I already reduced the size of the sideways displayed titles of the graphs to minimize their interference with the numeric values at the left side of each graph, which they would otherwise overwrite.  As stated previously, the example pages for these show those left edge titles in large bold font which is displaced to the left of the numeric values so there's no interference.  I can't get that to happen, and the Overview graphs look nothing like what I've seen elsewhere, where the content is not flattened down as it is here.  Does this help diagnose the problem?

Are you using a UHD display? If so, try the UHD option in the Preferences → Appearance section. The Daily you displayed above are so small in height that they would not be of any value for analysis.

RE: Displayed chart headings are overwriting value ranges shown at left of each chart
Red, thanks but first, this is a plain old Lenovo laptop, probably five years old now.  It has an HDR (High Dynamic Range) display, not UHD.  FWIW, I cannot find a UHD option in the Preferences - Appearances section but since that's not my display, it probably doesn't matter.  I agree, the graphs are basically useless unless there's a way to fix this.  I even deleted ("destroyed") my profile and created a new one, downloading all data from the machine's SD card; no change at all.  I can probably get by with the data in the Daily Sidebar between the calendar and the Event Breakdown pie chart, but it would be nice to actually be able to see what's in the graphs.  I also have a current inquiry in the Main Forum about my CA vs OA numbers, and the person replying asked to see the charts, but I can't provide them in this useless state.  So it's a handicap in more than one way.

Hypopneac,

I need more information to identify the issue that your having.
Please provide the following information:

1) what operating system are you using?

2) what is the laptop's display resolution?

3) what is the laptop's  display scale ?

4) On OSCAR: File -> Preference -> Appearance
  a)  what are the sizes of the fonts?

  b)  is the high resolution mode check?

5) ON OSCAR: execute View -> Reset Graph Heights

6) provide a snapshot of the OSCAR graphs

RE: Displayed chart headings are overwriting value ranges shown at left of each chart
Loudsnorer, here's what you requested.  Thanks.

System is Windows 11 Pro Version 22H2
Display resolution is 3840 x 2160 (default setting)
Display scale is 250% (default setting)
Fonts:
Application MS Shell Dlg 2, size 10
Graph Text MS Shell Dlg 2, size 10
Graph Titles Tw Cen MT Condensed, size 6 (changed per recommendation earlier in this thread to reduce font and its size so as to not cover the graph range values on the left side of each graph)
Big Text MS Shell Dlg 2, size 35

All fonts except Graph Titles are unchanged from Oscar defaults

The box regarding high resolution is called "High Resolution Mode is Disabled (Experimental)".  It was unchecked and remains so.  I did check it once to see if anything changed.  After clicking OK and restarting Oscar, nothing was different and the box reverted to being unchecked.

I first pasted a screenshot without entering text, and I have no idea where it ended up; sorry.  I then pasted it below but what appeared instead was dozens of lines of code, which followed this preface if that helps explain what happened.  I've since deleted it because it's useless.

If the first screenshot can be found, be advised that I believe the Cheyne Stokes entries to have resulted from some deep breathing and delay in the next breath.  Otherwise I have congestive heart failure or am near death, according to the CS definition, but happily I don't believe that either of those is the case.

If I can provide any further information, I'll be happy to try to do so.  Thanks again for your interest and effort.
