Dreamstation 2 and the 12 mm tubing versus 15 mm?
#1
Question
Dreamstation 2 and the 12 mm tubing versus 15 mm?
Recent Dreamstation 2 user (formerly DS1) here.
I have been using my old 15mm heated tubing on it fine, and, as I may travel soon, I tried the lighter 12mm one that came with the new DS2 (after adjusting the tube size setting).

Granted it was just one night test, but my AHI was higher (3.3 versus my usual 2.2).

I wonder if other DS2 users have experimented with either tubing size, or if the tubing size matters at all?

RE: Dreamstation 2 and the 12 mm tubing versus 15 mm?
I changed to 12mm with my DS2 about a month ago. Had been using 15mm with the DS1 and probably a year with the DS2. I notice little difference of air delivery between the two sizes and my AHI numbers are about the same.
