[Equipment] Do you turn off your Airsense in the morning after using?

Do you turn off your Airsense in the morning after using?
Hi everyone,

I'm new to cpap therapy and just got an Airsense 10 and have a question. In the morning, after you wake up and you're done with cpap therapy, what do you do? -

Do you just hit the Stop button at the top and that's it?  Will the machine know you're done with the cpap therapy?

Or do you power down the machine by holding the Start/Stop button at the top for 3 seconds?

Thanks in advance for the help and support!

If you use auto start/stop then you don't even need to hit the button. Day ticks over at noon for these machines, so it records what you've done any time from noon-noon and then closes out the day. It will do it that way regardless of how long you hold the button, the longer hold to turn it "off" does very little if I recall correctly.
Look, I'm an engineer, not a doctor! Please don't take my opinion as a substitute for medical advice.

I use the auto on/off feature, so when I pull my mask off, therapy stops.

If you're not using that feature, then just hit the button on the top of machine.

I turn my machine completely off by holding down on the start/stop button.. Remove the hose w/mask, so I can stow them tidily. Consider washing the humidifier tank. Then I remove the SD card, so can do Oscar.

I hit the button on top briefly to stop the therapy (otherwise it will blow air out for a few seconds before auto-stop kicks in, and I don't want that to wake my wife).

I then take off the mask and chin-strap and wait a few moments, to give the machine time to write the session info to the SD card.

I then hold the top button for a few seconds to turn the machine off, so I can then safely remove the SD card. I study the data carefully in Oscar every morning, along with my oximeter data.

If the wife is already up I just take the mask off and let it auto stop.
If wife still in bed I just hit the I hit the stop button.
I take the card out once a week on Sundays when I also wash the mask and swap hoses.
I don't use the humidifier tank and have a side panel fitted.

I use nothing but auto shut off with AirSense 10.
I only give suggestions from experience as a fellow CPAP user, not professional advice.
