Good Luck in your quest for sleep.

Pretty sure lefty likes constant pressure and VCOM.

And hopefully your quest doesn't cost you too much !?

Thinking-about

Sleep-well

just thinking now, and if you would like to re-visit VCOM, i and others have a lot of experience, for free! Let me know with a post, and also

RE: Exact same AHI every night/Trouble with Centrals after switching machines
I am not necessarily sold on Lefty or anything else, but I am running out of patience trying to find the solution to my issues. It's frustrating to get what seems to be a night or two of good sleep for the first time in my life and then here lately, it seems worse than ever.

I'm willing to try VCOM again. I just found it to be super uncomfortable the few nights I have used it.

Here is a close up of stuff I am seeing on OSCAR near these events flagged as clear airway events. They are all fairly similar to this, and there are quite a bit more throughout the night that the machine doesn't flag. It seems be following what looks like recovery breathing, although any correction or clarification on that would be appreciated.

I worry I'm gonna go to Lefty just to get told to try bi-level. Ironically, a used bi-level machine is about the price of his consultation haha.

wondering what u tried with VCOM and where you put it?

What i see is a high respiratory rate! You are good candidate for VCOM i would say.

for FFM, which i used for best recent results...

VCOM at machine, hose from VCOM to mask

constant pressure 11 cm   or  12 cm

NO EPR

You can try auto  if you like,  10 cm min  to 12 cm max

We can find a good constant from that, but i am pretty sure 11 or 12 will work well.

shouldnt take too long to zero in on good numbers, low CA and will see how you feel after that.

Give it a try!?

show some charts too.

No charge!!

like Sleep-well

Also be sure to be relaxed before putting the machine on do some type of breathing exercise as well you don't want to start off with an unrelaxed state

I have a heated hose so vcom went between hose and mask. It's a hybrid style mask with hose extension.

I'll give it a try though. Anything is worth it at this point. I basically feel worse than I did before treatment.

Should have just kept the luna machine and that's the part that confuses me. I did not have as many issues on that machine.

i tried VCOM at mask as well, a little noisier in my case, and somewhat different results maybe.

With hose extension you should be OK, far enough away from vents etc.

The trick, in my opinion, and others, is to get enough pressure.

Should be quick to zero in, may need as much as 13 cm, will see....

What do you feel like trying first?

Oh, sorry, for your question about recovery breathing...

You actually look real good on that one CA that you show, what do others look like?

Like i say, you have high respiratory rate and getting a good start on the night is imperative.

Try some meditation or whatever you know to relax, get breath under control.
