First two nights with results

First two nights with results
Hey guys,

Just started using a CPAP machine two days ago.

I have attached the results for those nights. Just wondering what settings I should change to optimize my sleep. Any advice and recommendations would be appreciated.

RE: First two nights with results
Welcome Wow!  It looks like you are doing very well for being on pap for only two nights.  If I were you I would increase your EPR to 3.  I think that would increase comfort and help your therapy as well.  The important thing is how you feel.  Are you adjusting well to therapy?  You are sleeping a good number of hours for someone new.  Are you comfortable?

P.S. Are you a fan of Lost In Space? I like the new series.
Machine:  ResMed AirCurve 10 Vauto
Mask:  Bleep DreamPort Sleep Solution

RE: First two nights with results
Thanks for the speedy response Deborah!! Ill increase the EPR to 3 tn.

After the first two nights with the machine, I feel like ive been adjusting pretty well. The pressure was a weird feeling at first but I still fell asleep quite fast nonetheless and it was pretty comfortable. It's also good to hear that my sleep hours are good for someone new as I thought it was kinda low.

P.S. I saw the trailer and it looked really good. I wanted to watch it but I've been busy lately so I havent found the time to watch it.

Third night with results
Im back after the third night with the EPR set to 3. Wondering if I need to change anything. Any help would be appreciated!

I'm also noticing that I wake up in the middle of the night and take the mask off because I have trouble falling back asleep. Maybe I'm still getting used to it?

Yeah, it takes some getting used to all of the equipment and finding a suitable sleeping position.

You do have a couple of obstructive events tagged but I don't see any harm in continuing to sleep with these settings for 1-3 more nights considering you're getting pretty good results. How are you feeling when you wake up?

If you'll zoom into each of the obstructive events we can maybe figure out if they're truly obstructive or not.

If you find your mind racing when you wake up you could try inositol 750mg:

Third night with results
Sounds good! Ill use these settings for the next couple of nights.

When I wake up, I feel pretty refreshed even with the mask off for the last few hours of my sleep.

I've attached the two OA events from last nights sleep.

Also, how do I update my thread title?
