HELP Mac Users! No response to macair 2013 no supported data
Hi There
HELP! I got no response on the technical forum, and its been a few weeks  since my last request, after  similarly waiting to my previous message. so I'm now putting this question out to everybody as a last resort before I finally give up on OSCAR . Was I writing my request in the wrong place, is everybody snowed under, which I can understand given the range of questions,  or have I missed the solution in another thread? I have looked, but I am not a tecchie., and the main Mac user moderator seems to have left in 2023.

So...I have an old Macbook air 2013, OS big Sur 11.7.10 ( cant update beyond this).
When I went overseas in August, I came back to find I had lost my profile so I created a new one but then got 'no supported data', (which I previously got when I first used Oscar which then mysteriously disappeared.) Thinking I was being clever, as I got no further suggestions, I used the same way of downloading data that HQ used when I  tried their free trial ,copying folders over and then specifying that folder as the correct one.

The issue Is  every time I  do this, I have to create a new folder... ie it hasn't saved the previous results from the last download. I have had to save the daily reports each time to keep some kind of record
I found out too late that I should have created a new folder each time- thanks Red-but have had no further response and I am now considering paying for sleepHQ which I really don't want to do.

Is my Mac Air just too old? Yes I know I need a new computer., but in the interim??
And just to be cheeky
1. Is there a way of finding my old profile. The Stats overview shows all my results  beginning in Oct 2023, but I cant find previous profileAnd
2. can I edit my current profile, which loaded my previous pressure of 9.5 so it knows it's me, but thats way out. Up to 18 shown in a recent sleepstudy to avoid having events but compromising on 16 to get some sleep!
This will be my last message if I cant get it sorted so may as well squeeze in the other queries! Feel like My messages are just getting lost in the ether.

And if you managed to read to the end Smile., to my fellow PAPers (as Lanky says), and forum moderators,  have a lovely Christmas  and New Year

First, this is software related, so it was moved to the Software Support Forum.

It will be 24-hours before I will be able to start my Mac virtual machine. I built the Mac version of OSCAR on Catalina (v10.15, I think). I have a VM of Big Sur and will look at how OSCAR gets configured on that system. Results will be posted here after conducting the tests.

OSCAR ran fine in Big Sur v11. I had to go to System Preferences > General Tab > and select > Allow Apple App Store and Individual Developers (I think that's the verbiage) to get it to install. I also went to the Privacy Tab and scrolled down to "Developer Tools". This setting seems to relax some of the security restrictions. I added the OSCAR.app to this group for no explicit reason (because I could). Prior to adding the OSCAR app, only Terminal was listed.

Bottom Line: OSCAR ran like a champ!

Do you have any 3rd party add-on antivirus apps? If so, this may be your bad boy.
