HME - For Travel CPAP
I currently use an AIR Mini for travel. I have a P10 mask and I use the AirMini set up. Over the past year, I'm not sure why, I am getting leaks in my hose at the connection point from the hose to the mask. It is getting to be quite expensive since I have gone through 3 hoses and mask connection sets. Also it sucks in that I don't get a good night sleep, like last night, because I couldn't use my system due to a leak.
I know there are adapters where I can use a regular slim line tube and my standard P10 mask but I need a little moisture at night. would it be possible to hook an HME device to the end of a standard slim line tube where it connects to the hose of a standard P10 mask or would the hose on the P10 be too long? Please note that when I use my current AirMini set up with the ResMed regular Humid X disc I do end up with water in the nasal cushion the next morning.
In the end I am just looking for something a little more durable. Thank you.
RE: HME - For Travel CPAP
Asking for update about Travel CPAP reviews: I was told historically that pressures of 11 would not work with full face mask (Amara View).
Advice from yall is always valued!! Last travel CPAP info was 2017 and surely I can do better! Thank you.
