RE: Help optimizing CPAP machine settings
Sounds good, I will move the pressure up to 8 for tonight and report back!

RE: Help optimizing CPAP machine settings
Looks like last night was a bit of a step back in terms of OA's. However, I don't feel markedly different from yesterday.
The only thing I can think of that was different between the two nights is that I accidentally forgot my allergy pill last night. Last night was with the Nova Micro, I can try the 8 pressure with the P10 tonight?

Indeed, it would be best if you did not reduce your pressure. You probably have positional apnea. Try to use a thinner pillow and sleep on your side.

RE: Help optimizing CPAP machine settings
Had an update on this after a test I did last night in turning EPR off completely and upping the minimum pressure to 8.8 to control OA's. I also sewed a tennis ball into a t- shirt to keep me on my side or stomach vs rolling to my back.
This morning is the best I have felt since starting CPAP from a tiredness perspective, but am starting to feel a little bit of that bloating sensation that I was dealing with before. Was wondering if there was a way to replicate these settings with EPR in place for some level of pressure relief? Also, is there anything I should be looking to address in terms of Leaks? I've permanently switched back to the P10 mask (medium cushion), and I notice that they are higher/more prevalent. Maybe switch to the small?
RE: Help optimizing CPAP machine settings
I suggest using EPR=3, full time, to mitigate your bloating and reduce flow limitations. For now, you should not change your pressure setting because EPR helps some people without simultaneously increasing expiratory pressure, while some others need a simultaneous pressure increase. Let's find out which group you belong to.
