How to Prevent N30i Nasal Pillow from Sliding Up During Use?
Hi everyone,
I’m using the ResMed N30i mask, but I’m having an issue where the nasal pillow pressed up against my nose slides up during the night, causing it to misalign with my nostrils. This disrupts my therapy and is quite frustrating.
Has anyone else experienced this problem? What adjustments or tips can you share to keep the N30i nasal pillow securely in place and aligned with my nostrils throughout the night? Any advice on how to stop and prevent this from happening would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!

This issue has been commented somewere else on this forum.
The design of N30i is not the best because the two holes on the cushion must always be aligned with your nose holes, which is practically impossible when you turn around during sleep. This misalignment is especially troublesome for masks suggested for side sleepers because the holes slide sideways and block the airflow when you sleep on your side.
I could remediate this issue by cutting a larger, single hole in the cushion. Unfortunately, when you cut the thin silicon, it can easily tear along the cut during cleaning; hence, this approach gave only temporary relief, and the cushion's lifetime is very short.
The solution is to switch to the corresponding Philips Dreamwear under the nose mask, with a single large hole, especially on the MW cushion. The Philips headgear is not as stable as the Remed's, but this is a small price to pay for better alignment.
