Humidity and Sinus Infection

Humidity and Sinus Infection
At my last ENT visit my doctor stated that the warm, moist, humidity from CPAP could be an issue for sinuses.  I have been fighting a sinus infection for about 3 weeks.  I did change my hose, and cushion and washed my P10 mask frame really well.  I also turned down the temp setting from auto to 70 degrees.  I kept the humidity setting at auto, guessing that is a 4.  I am thinking that a cooler humidity might be better than warmer humidity for my sinuses.  Just looking for some thoughts on cooler v warmer humidity for fighting sinus issues as well as what the auto v manually adjusting settings mean.  Machine is an Airsense 10.  TIA.

RE: Humidity and Sinus Infection
Humidity tends to aggravate my sinuses, so I've turned it down to the lowest setting. I find that the ambient temp in my room also influences my sinuses: when it's hot, I get stuffy. So I make sure room temp is set to 66F. My ENT also put me on prescription Flonase, which I take before bed. All in all these seemed to have helped.

You might consider turning down the humidity setting to 1 and move up from there. 4 is a bunch of water.
