Importing large lump of data into OSCAR

First, my PC is currently deceased and I don't yet have access to the hard drives. Most, if not all, of the data from the drives is with my cloud service so I can download it (CPAP files) from there. I have both the FlashPAP files and the OSCAR files (I hope).

Second, I also have whatever data is available on the card.

Third, I am just starting my A11 tonight so no data on it.

So....what is the best way to maintain the data from the A10? Download from cloud and point OSCAR to it then wait? Do it in chunks, like divide the data into years and set up different profiles?

Just how far back do you want to go? In reality, any data older than 2 years is about as relevant as a SCSI drive. Download the desired data to your new PC and then just before bed, start OSCAR and select the data to import, and go to bed. Do not try importing from the cloud. OSCAR was not designed to handle internet latency.

If your hard drive is not cooked, you can put it in a cheap external USB case and attach it via USB to your replacement computer and copy the entire Oscar data directory like you would copy any other files. Even if your deceased pc won’t boot, that does not mean you cannot recover data from a working drive.
