RE: Introducing the ResMed AirFit F40
I found this very good and honest review on the F40. It confirms the problems that I have encountered with it.

Agree with Jason. It's almost a great mask, but the pain and soreness under my nose forced me to go back to the F30i.

I was using the f40 with the medium cushion and felt as the night progressed the cushion was moving up away from my chin.  I ordered the large cushion and now the cushion sits lower on my chin and fits better.

I have been using the F 40 for about three weeks and love it.  Basically no leaks and AHI about 0.3
My only gripe is I feel extremely dry if I should wake up during the night and after a full nights sleep. I usually don’t use the humidifier when I use the dreamports but I have to with the F40.  Not sure if it’s due to the all silicone cushion.  I am still experimenting to see what level of humidity will solve this dryness issue for me.
Anyone else have this feeling when they use this mask?

Yes. The first night I used it I felt really dried out. I upped the humidity level and it's better now.

If your mouth is dry and you don't like using high humidity, you could try Xylimelts.  You can get them in Walmart but we buy the 100-bottle version from Amazon.  They work very well.
Machine:  ResMed AirCurve 10 Vauto
Mask:  Bleep DreamPort Sleep Solution

i feel like i need to keep my mask pretty tight on top and bottom to prevent leaks when i roll over. similar experience for others? it seems really close to a perfect mask for me other than the tightness and still getting small amounts of leaks

Mine leaks when I'm briefly on my back while rolling from one side to the other, but then the leak stops once I'm lying on my side again. So I don't wear it that tight and don't worry about the leaks.
