Does such a device exist yet?
(I have been using a CMS50F for a couple of years now, and it's kind of a crappy piece of engineering. I trashed multiple probes before I figured out that the cord would get snagged and break the solder joints at the finger cap. I put a tube of stockinette (think tube sock but open at both ends) over my hand and wrist and I've managed to keep my current probe functioning for 18 months now. Having the gigantic screen strapped to your wrist is just stupid. I have an idea to add just a battery and a bluetooth chip that would ride on my finger, and then a bluetooth receiver that would plug into the wrist part and it could sit on the nightstand. Yes there has to be a source of electricity to run the laser in the probe at your finger, but you don't need that big complicated display strapped to your body!
Bluetooth is definitely the right way to go!)
The main problem that I have is getting the pulseOx data synched up to the cpap data, since the ResMed engineers who were assigned the task of engineering the system clock on the cpap are idiots and the clock drifts over time. So they designed a machine that phones home to the MotherShip every day, but doesn't sync the time when it's chatting? Dumb!
