Just got diagnosed, feeling a bit overwhelmed with all the information.

RE: Just got diagnosed, feeling a bit overwhelmed with all the information.
In addition to the "for her" (pink/purple) headgear being slightly smaller, the for her comes with x-small, small and medium size cushions, whereas the for him (blue headgear) comes with small, medium and large size cushions.

Some DME's remove two cushions and will only give you the size they think fits you, but you should request all three cushions as you may have a need for a larger size once you try it.

A PS onto what OpalRose said on the DME withholding 2 cushions out of the Mask fit pack, they have done this to me, and yet charge full fit pack price to insurance. They did this one time, and I called them on it. It has yet to happen again. I have also intentionally not ordered certain things because they have indicated it's a fit pack but asked which size cushion. Fit packs do not require the size info, unless they need to know which to leave in the box they plan on opening.

Why would I bother to call them out when it didn't affect my bank account? Because shady dealing as above makes others pay for it. It's one thing for disabled Dave to get insurance to pay for legitimate things, but shady deals do not sit well with Dave as it will impact everyone's insurance somehow.

I am by no means a small man, but got a For Her P10 once from my DME, but with the large cushions. The headgear was tight but stretched, so not a big problem. I always advise new users that they should try a nasal pillow size larger than the one they think they need or the DME recommends. They ALWAYS get it wrong. Any new mask should come with three cushions as noted above, and for most males, the XS and S will be worthless. You wil use the M or L, and I'd say be sure you have both.
