Is there any hope for the recovery of my data? What is the rebuild function supposed to do. Thanks.

Lost data?
I manage 2 profiles and I accidentally imported data into the wrong one. In an attempt to correct the problem, I noticed there was a rebuild data option. I selected the correct profile and opted for the rebuild function and selected my current machine. Now my data for that machine appears to be gone. When I look at the files on the SD card, I don't see any for that machine. Unfortunately, I did not back up the SD card.
Is there any hope for the recovery of my data? What is the rebuild function supposed to do. Thanks.

RE: Lost data?
The rebuild function is for data OSCAR has already imported. The option you should choose is to purge the data for the day that has the wrong CPAP data. Data → Advanced → Purge Current Selected Day → CPAP Be sure and select the day you want to purge in the Daily screen first.

RE: Lost data?
That is good to know, but I was asking about the 11 months of data that has disappeared when using the rebuild function. Can you help with that issue? Thanks.

RE: Lost data?
Do you have the Do not import data older than: 'DATE' selected? Under your profile should be a backup folder containing your data. You may need to point the Import to it. Do you back up your SD card data to a dedicated directory on your PC? If not, I highly recommend it. SD cards can go bad instantly.

RE: Lost data?
Thank you for your response. I have no date restrictions set on the import. As stated in my first post, I have not done a SD card backup. You said, "Under your profile should be a backup folder containing your data. You may need to point the Import to it." Where do I find the backup folder and what file do I ask it to import? Thanks.

RE: Lost data?
To import the data, select the CPAP Importer and opt to Choose a Folder. Navigate to your OSCAR_Data folder → Profiles → YourProfileName → CPAPDeviceNumber → Backup folder, and then select the Choose button. You might need to turn off the Import without asking for confirmation option in your Preferences.

RE: Lost data?
In the future, I would recommend inserting your sd card locked so that the OS doesn't accidentally modify anything.
