Help with bilevel settings- periodic randomness in OSCAR

Hi everyone!

I've been on the Aircurve V10 Auto for about a week, mostly to deal with persistent UARS-related flow limitations (I had been using Airsense 11 for about a month before that). I've been having an issue with centrals, which I think I just figured out by setting the trigger sensitivity to very high.

With current settings, any big problems seem to be dealt with, but I have a question about periodic weirdness in my OSCAR data. I think there's definitely some unflagged hypopneas/shorter apneas in there, so I'm curious as to what setting tweaks I might make to knock those out (IPAP increase?). Also some some occasional weirdness in the flow rate chart, but I don't know if that could just be explained by me changing positions/maybe clearing my nose in the night or something.

Welcome! By definition, and apnea must involve a cessation of breathing for at least 10 seconds, so shorter pauses aren't technically apneas.

The earlier snippet looks to me like arousal breathing followed by several minutes of getting back to sleep. Arousal breathing tends to look disorganized, and the flow rate goes higher and lower than regular asleep breathing.

The later snippet might be breath-holding; possibly you were turning over. This might have been flagged as an apnea if it weren't that you took a little breath shortly after the pause began.

From the chart, it looks as though you're doing very well. How are you feeling during the day?

Subjectively, I feel alright today. Maybe a little worse than normal because I went to bed later than usual watching the US Open haha. 

If these results wouldn't really warrant any settings changes, maybe its a good idea to just give it a few days on my normal schedule?

Your settings only allow 1-cm of pressure change, and it seems the machine is not trying to go any higher than 11 cm. There are no flow limits or respiratory anomalies. It looks excellent.
