My Comparison of DreamStation Auto vs ResMed AirSense10 Autoset

This review is for the newer AirSense 10, which is a totally new design, and change in how it functions. The S9 is very similar to the DreamStation, and to the best of my knowledge there is no such thing as an S10!

euh... actually, the S9 and air10 are virtually identical, internally, just the external bits are different, the case was redesigned, the modem was moved internal, and the humidifier tank was redesigned, the blower and almost all the functions (except the new 'autoset for her' mode), exactly the same.

the dreamstation is almost identical to the system one as far as its datagathering and functions go, though there are more new functions on the dreamstation "ezstart" (or as I refer to it "choke more") mode comes to mind.

"The DreamStation is larger than the AutoSet 10". Well, as I like to say in my job, math doesn't lie. Dimensions for the Dreamstation without humidifier, which many, myself included, leave at home when traveling are 7.6" W x 6.2" L x 3.3" H for a total of 155.5 cubic inches, and the Autoset 10's dimensions are 4.57" x 10.04" x 5.91" for a total of 271.17 cubic inches. It's the Autoset's height of almost 6" that makes the difference, and this makes the Dreamstation the more portable unit for travel.
