RE: NEXT CHALLENGE: IMPORTING WELLUE 02
Certain Wellue oximeters only report in real-time and don't have recording capability. It would be stated in the documentation that accompanied your oximeter.

I have the SleepU and it does report PDF, CSV, and Binary with the current version ViHealth app on my iPhone.
And FYI, the PDF generated on the iPhone I like much better than the one generated with O2_Insight_Pro. Has more useful data.
RE: NEXT CHALLENGE: IMPORTING WELLUE 02
Interesting, thank you! I'll try one of the approved ones and see if my export options change in the app, then.
This fingertip device does "record" to the app if you have it open, but doesn't have any local storage on the device itself - so maybe that's where the binary files get created on the compatible devices?
RE: NEXT CHALLENGE: IMPORTING WELLUE 02
Both apps, for PCs and Phones, store all reordered data in a database file. When a user selects one of the data export options, it extracts and formats the data from this database.
The SleepU, O2Ring, and Checkme Pro, have storage on the device. You have to download the recorded data to the app to get the it into the database.

RE: NEXT CHALLENGE: IMPORTING WELLUE 02
Ah - just to clarify my earlier comment: even the $12 fingertip monitor did actually "record" a full night of data in the ViHealth app. I just had to open the app and begin monitoring, and then could even lock my phone for the night. Even though the device had no local storage, the phone app received and stored all the real-time data from the whole night.
However, the only export options available for these recorded periods are CSV and PDF - no binary file. So, I was just wondering if that option only popped up for data recorded by oximeter models that had local storage, or something funky like that.
In any case, my theory doesn't seem correct, as I tried Wellue's cheapest oximeter with local storage (WearO2), and its data still does not give a binary export option from the app, even if I make sure it records locally and then transfers to the app after the fact.
Try #3 will be the next cheapest (Oxylink), which is on the tested/approved list here - fingers crossed! I've also reached out to their support team for clarification, but don't have high hopes on that front.
RE: NEXT CHALLENGE: IMPORTING WELLUE 02
Strange......all of a sudden my data 02 data will not go into OSCAR. I did everything the way I have been doing it and for some there is no data being imported today, the categories don't even appear.. Any thoughts?

RE: NEXT CHALLENGE: IMPORTING WELLUE 02
Since I'm unaware of the steps you follow, all I can do is ask general troubleshooting questions.
- Outside of OSCAR, can you see the data files with a time date name that matches your CPAP sessions?
- Has the app (ViHealth or O2 Insight Pro) that you use to obtain the data from the oximeter been updated?

RE: NEXT CHALLENGE: IMPORTING WELLUE 02
The only way I have been able to get the data into OSCAR has been to download the binary file from the ViHealth app to my desktop. Then I change the last six digits of the file name to the start time of my sleep session. Then I go to import the binary data file into OSCAR and it always has imported in the past. Don't know if I did something different/wrong this morning.

Post your new filename, so we may see.
