NEXT CHALLENGE: IMPORTING WELLUE 02
#21
RE: NEXT CHALLENGE: IMPORTING WELLUE 02
If this was for last night, then it is off by a day.  It shows that your device started on Saturday, April 15, 2023, at 36 minutes, 54 seconds past midnight.  This means that this would be in your Friday's data.  If it was for last night, the file should be named, "20230416003654".

That explains it.  I started after midnight.

Even though the device had no local storage, the phone app received and stored all the real-time data from the whole night.

However, the only export options available for these recorded periods are CSV and PDF - no binary file. So, I was just wondering if that option only popped up for data recorded by oximeter models that had local storage, or something funky like that.

In any case, my theory doesn't seem correct, as I tried Wellue's cheapest oximeter with local storage (WearO2), and its data still does not give a binary export option from the app, even if I make sure it records locally and then transfers to the app after the fact.

Try #3 will be the next cheapest (Oxylink), which is on the tested/approved list here - fingers crossed! I've also reached out to their support team for clarification, but don't have high hopes on that front.

To follow up on the above - even with the Oxylink, ViHealth is only giving me PDF and CSV export options - no binary option. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, trying sessions that were recorded to the app in real-time vs. saved on the oximeter and later transferred. Nothing is working.

I wonder if they removed the option in the newest app version or something - is no one else having this issue?

Looking at your device's specification states it only reports trends in 1 minute resolution.  The CheckMe, O2Ring, and SleepU report in 4 second intervals.  Based off the oximeter model comparison chart, the Oxylink is not shown to be compatible with any PC app.   The Oxylink's strong point is its remote monitoring from anywhere.  I wouldn't hold my breath that it produces a binary file.

Sorry!  Confused

Yeah, I did also just try both the Oxylink and the WearO2 with the PC program as well, but neither was able to connect. Oh well. So much for a sub-$160 O2 tracking option, I suppose!

(It does seem like the iOS binary export option no longer works for the Oxylink, in any case - we may want to update the wiki at some point.)

Ah, great - I see the Contec CMS-50F is on sale for $65 from Groupon right now. Just for any future thread-readers going down this same road, that seems to be the most affordable compatible option at the moment!
