Need help understanding my sleeP record
If I post my sleeP record can someone read it for me and let me know what's really going on with me? I have severe apnia, I have 44 apnias an hour on average, and with my cPap I'm having 16 an hour.. I'd like tO if possible get it knocked down even more... I'm using the resmed s9 with the heated hose and the mirage hybrid (liberty) mask. And I'm at 11 cm as far as Pressure. I was diagnosed 2 months ago . Still very fatigued. Probably due to still having high ahi?

Your profile says you aren't using software. Consider downloading either ResScan or SleepyHead. Both are found here:
http://www.apneaboard.com/forums/Forum-P...-and-Links

Download the data then take a screenshot. Not sure how to do it in Mac but on PCs, use the button on your keyboard that says 'Prnt Scr'. Then paste it into an image program. A free one is Irfanview. Save it then upload the image as an attachment. Which you can learn about here:
http://www.apneaboard.com/forums/Thread-...ttachments

That may be harder for you but for us, it is much easier to help you. But that doesn't mean you HAVE to. You can also type in the results. Be sure to include leak rate.

Also, if you've only been using two months and your AHI is still 16, we're not the only ones to share your data with. Go see your sleep doc.

Hi No doze
I don,t use SH software may be SH users may chime in.
Congrats on your leak numbers looks very good must be doing something right especially with full face mask.
Your profile note pressure 11 and SH 10 so may be the S9 isn't set correctly to your prescribed pressure and it does no harm to ask the doc in trying the S9 in autoset mode as it adjust the pressure breath by breath while asleep.

RE: Need help understanding my sleeP record
Dont use an S9 but your AHI needs to be under 5.0 This can be acheived by altering your pressure but this is not advisable until you know what your doing. Your leaks are looking ok now and your usage is over the 4 hour threshold.

You can either start experimenting with your pressure but again dont do this unless you know what your doing or secondly contact your clinic to see if they can adjust your settings.

There are other factors to take into account like your diet as coffee and alcohol can effect your AHI quite dramaticly.

Welcome
