O2Ring "lost time" 4.5 hours, 2 weeks since previous lost time
Last night, I woke part-way through, discovering that the time on my O2Ring was -4.5 hours (4 hr 30 min) behind (lagging).

This is 2 weeks (exactly I think) since it last time-offsetted. On that previous occasion the time offset was a whole (integer) number of hours, which made me wonder if it reflected some kind of time-zone re-selection in the ring.

Apparently Venezuela used UTC-4:30 from December 9, 2007 to May 1, 2016. Also North Korea adopted a timezone with a half-hour component to its timezone offset from UTC.

This reinforces the possibility (my guess) that these spontaneous time offsets reflect timezone changes in the O2Ring, that others have also experienced (and reported in this forum).

I have reported the above to Wellue support.

Have you been meeting up with any extraterrestrials, or have you been traveling to a different timezone with the O2Ring? It sounds like either the battery is discharging between uses or it is defective. The battery can not be too big in that little puppy. Connecting to one of its reporting apps, ViHealth or O2 Insight Pro, should synchronize the oximeter to the correct time. Since I use my oximeter very sporadically, I connect it to the charge cord and connect to the ViHealth prior to using it.

Before use I always fully charge it, every day (and the day before that "lost time" was no exception).
Following the night in question (right now), the indicator shows its battery as half-full.

Yes when I synced the ring (this morning) to ViHealth, it re-synched the time (like it normally does following these sporadic time-changes). But that doesn't fix existing-recorded data on the ring.

Now on my computer, to correct the time, I have to "get hack-y" i.e. go through a convoluted process of editing the name and header of the binary file, also the O2Insight database.

Wellue said there was no way to correct the time in ViHealth, all one can do is add a note.

I stand corrected about O2 Insight Pro.  When using this software, you need to select the Configure > Synchronize the Clock and then select the Save button.  Just make sure your PC's clock is set accurately prior to doing this.

Just to confirm - same time offset when downloaded into O2 Insight
(so "onwards with that hack-y stuff")

Wellue suggested factory-resetting the ring.
I doubt that will help but of course I'll give it a try.

Also they passed my info on to their dev team.
Can't say fairer than that!
