What do you need to change in OSCAR when you switch from a Resmed Autoset 10 to a Resmed 10 Vauto? Is this new device automatically recognized in your current profile or is it better to create a whole new profile?

OSCAR, how to switch to a new device?
I have searched on this forum, but have not come across the answer to my question:
What do you need to change in OSCAR when you switch from a Resmed Autoset 10 to a Resmed 10 Vauto? Is this new device automatically recognized in your current profile or is it better to create a whole new profile?

RE: OSCAR, how to switch to a new device?
Since they are of the same brand CPAP and series (10), you can continue with your existing profile.

RE: OSCAR, how to switch to a new device?
You must use a new SD card in the new machine - or at least format the old one before reuse. Each machine writes its serial number in a file at the root of the SD card. Things will get very confused if two machines write data to the same SD card.

RE: OSCAR, how to switch to a new device?
When switching from a ResMed AirSense 10 AutoSet to a ResMed AirCurve 10 VAuto in OSCAR, you typically don't need to create a new profile. OSCAR is designed to recognize different CPAP and bilevel devices from the same manufacturer and seamlessly transition your data.
