OSCAR-oximetry data import record/file layout

the Contec CMS50D+ with the micro USB port has the CP2102 chip in it's big end. I wonder if the SleepU uses the same one.

Plug in the cable without the ring and see what the device manager (or lsusb) reports...

No, the SleepU uses something different. I forget what, though, and I loaned mine to a friend with COVID-19.

P.S. For anyone else with an O2Ring .... I found out that any micro-USB cable will charge the O2Ring but to get the data you have to use their proprietary cable that comes with it  . I don't know what could be different about that cable but hopefully I'll find it before the new release comes out 

Check the vendor's website for a new version of the software released in the last few days.  I've been messaging back and forth with support over the exact same issue for the last week and they have recently posted an updated "v1.1.0" download (although the date looks like it hasn't changed). I uninstalled the old version, installed the new version and bingo it now can read my o2Ring (with there cable - the long ended USB cable, not a standard micro usb you can charge it with).

Now I am trying to get the files to sync with Oscar now that I have retrieved them but Oscar doesn't seem to like the CSV format much =(

Sorry, I need to write up documentation for this feature. In the mean time:

Point OSCAR to the downloaded files, not the exported CSVs. You can point OSCAR to your O2 Insight Pro data folder (named with your O2Ring's serial number) and it will load all of the downloaded sessions, no need to export and import one by one. The filenames in that folder are of the form YYYYMMDDHHMMSS, if I recall correctly (e.g. 20200408190533).

Is there a specific type we need to select from the drop-down in the wizard for O2Ring?

The file naming convention is indeed YYYYMMDD###### (not sure what the 5 additional digits represent after the datestamp) format
20200331183905    was a file from 31 March 2020 with a start time of 18:39 and an end time of 23:38

To the Lumberjack (sawinglogsz), bonjour, et al:   As the one who posted the original question for this thread, I'm ba-a-a-a-ck. Interestingly, I haven't been getting e-mail notifications of the posts since March 27th. Only noticed the subsequent posts today, when checking the thread 'manually'.

Regardless--  Tried to follow the instructions in the link sawinglogz posted 4-8. After navigating to the O2 Insight Pro DATA folder, clicking Open does not initiate a procedure, just opens the folder and displays the 80-ish individual time-date-named files.

At that point I selected a file and clicked Open; received a popup message that the file contents were not recognized and the file should be sent to ViATOM for review. Clicking Ok, presumably to trigger either the sending of the data or instruction, instead a popup message appeared indicating import had been successful (possibly preceded by an ultra brief progress gauge).

Continuation of accidental premature Post from jtm AZ . . .

I need to modify my comments re: popup messages during import attempt. After my accidental post I closed and re-opened OSCAR, and saw that I did have some oximetry data. I tried the import process again, selecting a different file. Again received an error popup, and copied it before clicking Ok. So this is accurate:
 
"Your Viatom device generated data that OSCAR has never seen before.  The imported data may not be entirely accurate, so the developers would like a copy of your Viatom files to make sure OSCAR is handling the data correctly."

THEN when I click Ok, I get a system message (lower right-hand corner of desktop) indicating successful import of 1 session. I repeated that procedure 4 or 5 times (different files). I'm not certain, but I believe on one import attempt the data was imported without producing an error message. Not sure if I should attach a couple of data files to this post or send them elsewhere, so I'll wait for the reply. 

FWIW, the SpO2 charts for the days I imported did concur with the O2 Insight Pro charts.
