RE: Please help with treatment review
Ask your doctor for a script and you can get that mask online for $100 US. Don’t pay what the DME wants. Mine wants $475 for the F30. That’s insane and should be illegal

That’s insane and should be illegal I know... In their defence, I used to have a far worse DME. Same pricing. Except....they sold packages. If you bought their machine, and humidifier, it came with the mask they sold. No substitutions. That didn't work for me. I asked cpap users who they went to and if they were happy for years. I switched to this one...over 5 years ago. They allow me to try masks out. I can keep them for a week. The difficulty is getting there...it's two cities away. Is there someone better where I live? Could be. So I'll keep asking people who use cpap who their dme is.

Supplier #1 has free returns within a month. I get what you’re saying but $300 for that mask is highway robbery. $300 for any mask is highway robbery. To me they are taking advantage of people that don’t know you can get a script from your doc and buy them online for 1/3rd the price.

Thanks.
However, I live in Canada. So returns across border are not fun at all.

Dave, you might want to check on cushion replacement costs. You can buy cushions separately from mask headgear. I really don't understand why you would not buy complete masks or components from someone like Supplier #10 who sells these for a fraction of the cost. You know the mask works.

My prescription for a mask was dated. It's more than a year old. Sleep doc's trying to sell me a machine and a mask....I'll get a new prescription.

I did better last night. Leakage was reduced; it was really good until early morning.

Here are two screenshots; I'm not used to the arrangement and wanted to show leak rate....
