Me, too. Talk to your regular doctor about it.

RE: Please help with treatment review
Good morning.
Last night's sleep was bad. I taped my lips closed to prevent mouth breathing.
So was the night before, when I used my under chin collar.

RE: Please help with treatment review
My numbers are good; sleep quality has been awful all this week, or longer. I'm being careful--going to bed early. Trying to keep regular hours.
There's a pattern.
If I wake up 3-5 I have real trouble going back to sleep.

I toss and turn. I find that if I roll onto my left side I have more trouble getting to sleep, and I try and prevent that.

Two nights ago I woke up and I'd rolled and moved so much that the bed covers were off my bed.

RE: Please help with treatment review
Your last detail chart had no event flags. Please be sure all events are turned on. See the drop list at the bottom left of your charts and be sure all events are turned on. Reorganize your charts to show Events, flow rate, pressure, flow limitation and leaks. We do not need AHI or Tidal volume, and you can drag and drop those charts lower in the order so they do not show.

Your leak rate is causing a lot of sleep disruption, and it does not appear to be only mouth leaking, but mask seal issues as well. There are a lot of sudden spikes of leak that we don't usually associate with mouth leaks, which look more like the places where a large leak is flagged (flat-tops larger leak). You may need to look for a better fitting alternative or consider nasal pillows which tend to be easier to maintain a good seal.

RE: Please help with treatment review
Thanks! You have helped me so much.
I looked through my daily reports.
I believe my mask is getting old...I've had 3 of this style. First two were L; last one is M (I used the fit gauge; the DME hadn't bothered to use it.)
I'm using an N20 right now. I find that they are great when new, but seals don't last past 6 months. I find the head gear stretches too.
I'll check in with my DME. They're two cities away so I have to arrange to get there.

RE: Please help with treatment review
DaveL I agree an older mask can look like this, and when I see this in my own results, or detect more "mask farts" and seal leaks, it is time to at least replace the cushion and/or headgear. That is a great place to start, and you might solve your problem with just a phone call. You certainly qualify for replacement now. I get several cushion replacements per month, and mask replacement in 3-months. My insurance is very good, and I don't have any copay, but you should try to get at least 2-cushions and a mask replacement on a 6-month basis. Investigate what your coverage is and decide what is affordable to avoid these problems.

BTW, you should be able to call and have supplies mailed. Why are you traveling for supplies?

RE: Please help with treatment review
Thanks.
Suppressing a rant...
We have new benefits coverage. Focusing on the good....still have benefits (I lost them before because I was over 70. After a talk about age discrimination, and wrongful dismissal, I got them back.) However, I have issues with the new supplier...
Writing on the board. "I'm grateful I have benefits coverage...I'm grateful I have benefits coverage...I'm grateful..."

My N20 costs $300 Canadian from my DME. They are not recognized under this plan, so I get to pay and then I'm compensated, eventually. Advantage? They allow me to take a trial mask home for a week before I buy. Another advantage? They know their equipment, and have helped me select a new mask in the past. However, they don't carry all masks. I suspect that they carry masks that suit their business plan.

Rant over....
