To my of thinking selling autoset to a patient (and told to use it like that) then charging it a a CPAP is criminal.
I know someone who was sold a Autoset but set up as a CPAP.
I had the good fortune to meet some wonderful people on a Newsgroup years ago. One was cpap man without the break. He was my hero. He told me I needed an apap. Took a long long time to get one. Here in wonderful Ontario Canada.
That gentleman had OSA and had a business selling equipment to people. He responded to every question. Hat's off to him. In comparison my DME supplier was 1/2 owned by Credit Valley Hospital. They sold me my second cpap. A brick. A mask (one nasal mask works for everyone; one mask fits all. No substitutions.) I asked my sleep-doc-from-h*ll what was new in OSA therapy. He said, "nothing" and then "hose covers and heated hoses. But you don't need those." Rainout? What?
First step in control is keeping the Setup Manual out of the hands of the user.

Good videos on youtube showing how to remove that device. I haven't done so.
I find I get far more help from OSCAR and veterans here.
Reason? I don't think that my sleep doc is interested in doing business with me. He just wants to sell new equipment after being paid for sleep studies at his facilities. I showed him OSCAR printout last visit. Haven't heard from him again.
When I asked my DME supplier to look at my card and tell me what ResMed sees the results just confirm compliance. They talked carefully when I got my S10 *for her* machine. And set it up as a CPAP as the system required. And they've formatted my card without telling me so. I lost history and that really bothered me.

Worst night score in a long long time. No Idea Why.
Woke up this morning feeling rested.
Put my glasses on and read AHI=9.2!
Another day in paradise.

Should have said...I wore my N30i mask and used a soft cervical collar. I've done that for about 2 months.

Last night I used my F&P Evora Full full face mask until 4:00 a.m. or so.
I was awake so many times. 2 bottom straps kept coming off causing leakage.
AHI was 6.2

My issue with the F&P Evora Full, full face mask is leakage. It's the best of about 10 ffm's I've tried to see if I can switch to a ffm from a nasal mask and strap of some kind for mouth breathing.
When I wake up in the middle of the night for a washroom break I'm doomed. I've never been able to wear the ffm after that.
Last night was so much better. I used my ResMed N30i with my cervical collar. Somehow I slept until about 6:15 this morning! Then I woke with a cramp; game over.
Sleep quality was so so...according to the APP--21 min of REM; 4 min of Deep Sleep. APP is Autosleep. on my iPhone SE.

RE: Please help with treatment review
Please understand that I'm very grateful I have this mask. I've had a few days (before angiogram) that were perfect. During my time awake I checked the hose connection; took the hose off, turned it 180 degrees and put it back on.
This the night before my angiogram....and it was a satisfactory night. That's a massive accompishment, considering my claustrophobia has prevented me from using full face masks before.
