Popping noise from Resmed elbow
#1
Question
Popping noise from Resmed elbow
Just got a new Resmed P30I (nasal pillow) mask. Love the mask but I'm getting an annoying popping sound from the elbow that came with the mask.

*It's not a humidity issue because it starts the moment I turn the machine on while it's completely dry. I've even tried it without the humidifier and nothing helps.

Any ideas why and how to fix this? Doesn't happen with my Dreamwear mask, only the Resmed

RE: Popping noise from Resmed elbow
Proth;
I use a resmed F20 .. The quiet air elbow does the same thing for a few breaths when first
putting on the mask in the evening .. It started after I washed it the first time .. I think
washing removed a lubricant layer from the silicone valve leaves .. It does quit popping
after a few breaths and remains quiet for the night .. It doesn't impede My breathing
or therapy ..
Hopefully Yours does the same thing ..
Good Luck Steve
