Some specifics about myself: MALE, approximately 60 years old, height 6'1",weight:235lbs.
I have tried 6 different CPAP masks from a full fax mask(i was a mouth breather) to a nasal pillow and 4 other nasal masks. A nasal mask is a must for me. The question or problem is the air from the ResMed Mirage FX mask is distributed (blows)in all directions. It has caused me to have bumps form on my right eye. Twice in the past 1 year I have had to go to the eye doctor for steroids, antibiotic and eye creams. This has resolved my eye bumps. NOTE: I sleep on my sides only. Mostly my right side thus the air blows up into my right eye.
Question: Has anyone been able to create an air deflector that can push/direct the air downward toward the chin. I have been able to purchase soft silicone eye goggles that have a white foam insert from eEyeCare that you can insert into each eye goggle. This at least this slows the amount of air that reaches my eyes. I have scoured the internet for a solution but I am turning to you for help.
Any and all suggestions are welcome and appreciated.
Warmest Regards,
