[Pressure] ScienceDad - Therapy Assistance

RE: Reducing Hyponeas
That’s way too many hypopneas to have a good night’s sleep, in my experience. And your pressure settings may not be helpful. 5 is too low for adult exhale, for starters.

Record your sleep, run it through Oscar, and post screenshots in the standard Apneaboard format, so you can get help with settings. Someone will be along…

RE: Reducing Hyponeas
So here's last night's OSCAR Daily. I hope I organized it correctly per Apnea Board directions. Again, I use a DreamStation on Auto with pressure settings at 5min & 10max and C-Flex on 1. Like I said, the Obstructive Apneas and Central Apneas are minimal at worst (sometimes none), but the Hyponeas can be numerous on given nights. I agree, it appears that I'm most tired after a night when I have a lot of Hyponeas.

I've only had a Home Sleep Test and it only indicated mild sleep apnea. Hence the minimal pressures prescribed. Any insights are greatly appreciated.

RE: ScienceDad - Therapy Assistance
ScienceDad - Your 3 threads were related to your therapy.  For this reason, I have merged them.  This provides the reader a history of your past settings and results.  Having the ability to see past attempts and their results will help to form better recommendations.  Please use this thread for all your therapy related posts. I have changed the thread title to, "ScienceDad - Therapy Assistance" to be more inclusive.

since you still have quite a few hypopneas it seems the minimal pressure isn't enough. i would try min 6 max 10 cflex 2.
