Question re ramp up/starting pressure airsense 11

Question re ramp up/starting pressure airsense 11
My settings are starting at a 4 and my doc set 4-10.  I look at the clinical data daily (and keep my own spreadsheet of that data).  I'm most often maxed out at 9.8.

Here's the thing: I feel (almost 4 weeks in) that I want a bit more air pushing through at the beginning.  I don't want to start full-bang and really like the ramp-up feature. I have trouble falling asleep (always have - I get panic-y right when I should relax into sleep) and I play some mindless airpad games til i know I'm ready to turn on my side and just go to sleep.

Is there something that will be bad about changing the starting ramp up a notch?  I was thinking if I tried it at 5?? Has anyone had experience with this - either good or bad?  Someone who uses the ramp up feature.

thanks.

Set your min pressure to 7. That will feel a whole lot better.
Please post your daily charts from OSCAR as there are likely other changes.

And do try to turn off the ramp, your pressures are very low. No issues with turning ramp up, set ramp on 7, as that is often a much better starting pressure.

.pdf   Bean to July 17 CPAP READINGS - Google Sheets.pdf (Size: 37.38 KB / Downloads: 6) Thanks for answering.  I wish I could do the Oscar thing but it's just onerous for me - I'd have to purchase a card and then purchase a way to upload it to my MacBook and do that every day.  I've been keeping the clinical data that the airsense shows.  I just made it into a .pdf and am attaching it here.  I'd love to hear thoughts about it.

May I ask (and I really am asking ...I'm new to the process of CPAP) why starting at 7 will help?

Most users feel starved for air at pressures of 4-5. You mentioned you feel the need for more air at the beginning. A setting of 7 will take care of that. Also, if I understand your data, the pressure is increasing and staying above 7 so you shouldn't notice much difference. Without seeing OSCAR data it's hard to say more. You should reconsider using OSAR. SD card and usb card readers are relatively cheap and available.
