Recent AHI increase - OSCAR interpretation please
Hi all- I've been using my CPAP nightly with no major issues for a little over a year now. I recently noticed my AHI increasing, despite no real changes on my end. My instinct is to raise my min/max pressures, but was told this was a great place for my OSCAR data to be interpreted. I've attached my OSCAR 'Statistics' as well as last night's data. Happy to toss in whatever else might be needed.
Thanks for any/all advice!

Hi jkbp03, welcome to the forum
Please raise your min pressure to 10cm and max pressure to 15cm-this will help your events and snoring.

Thanks. DB

RE: Recent AHI increase - OSCAR interpretation please
You had 5 H events clustered together - that shows positional apnea. You got into a position where you cut off your own air way. You moved and ended the apnea and must have gotten back to a position where you could breathe. The one time occurrence is not something to worry about or change anything. You need to be aware of sleeping with your chin dropping to your sternum that will stop your breathing. Sleeping on your back or a bunched up pillow can do it.
Apnea (80-100%) 10 seconds, Hypopnea (50-80%) 10 seconds, Flow Limits (0-50%) not timed Cervical Collar - Dealing w DME - Chart Organizing
