Is this the video?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=naaezJEujSU Wow! That's aweful, mine isn't like that. It's more of a whispering whooosh sound and just on exhale.

I thought it was suppose to be quiet, but it is not! It is quite loud in comparison to my older Respironics machine and my DeVilbiss machine, both fixed pressures. I have found some video on Youtube where others have posted the similar sound. Maybe it is just the way it is, especially with an autoset machine for the first time. I was just wondering what others have experienced with this machine? It doesn't sound healthy....that I know My wife complains the machine is far to quiet! I even have to check it is still working sometimes it is so quiet.

I have never heard a noise like that before coming from one of these machines! It almost sounds as if air is escaping through a small gap somewhere! If I had a machine making that noise I would be checking and changing things until it stopped.

My CPAP machine provider listened to the recording I made of the sound and agreed the sound wasn't normal. Replacement machine arrives tomorrow. Will see how it works and report back.

The above video, they user is complaining that it is quiet at first then gets louder as it runs through the night, this is as loud as my one ever gets (so far) if it starts getting louder I will susoect it is a fault and be on the phone to my supplier. Good to see you are getting a new machine, good luck with it.
