ResMed Airsense11 auotset - no SDcard included?
I got my Airsense 11 Autoset today. I checked for the SDcard and it just had the blank insert. Should it be included?
In the parts list on page 3 it says
"SD Card (not available in all devices)."
on page 12 it mentions a "protective folder" for the SD card that has instructions. I dont see anything like that in the case it came with.
Did my DME swipe my SD Card? I was playing dumb in their office and didn't ask for it.
If I use my own, how much storage is adequate? What should I format it as? There nothing about that in the manual.

For the SD card, any SD card 2GB to 32GB will work out of the package. No formatting necessary. FAT32 is the file system used.
I have had issues with the lesser known brands in the past (PNY) so I would suggest sticking with a name brand like SanDisk, Toshiba, or Samsung.

My 11 I got last month did not come with one. I picked up a Resmed labeled SD from one of the online vendors as they were near enough to the price of a generic SD card.

I don't believe they work with SDHC cards, which happens to be most of the cards I could find to purchase. I tried a 32 gb card I had sitting around (freshly formatted with the SD formatting utility) and it would not work. I ended up getting a 2gb microSD card working with an adapter (even though they state that it doesn't work with microSD.)

Mine seems to working fine with a Microcenter branded SDHC 32GB (Can't post a link, because I'm a new user
)
No real data yet because I'm still getting used to using a CPAP but that file structure is there and OSCAR recognizes it.

The OS used to format the card can be an issue. The card must be formatted to a FAT32. Even if your OS offers a format option for this, it may still be problematic. In fact, the SD card consortium has released free SD card formatting apps for Windows and Mac platforms. Here is the download link:

I just picked up my Airsense 11 and it did come with an SD Card.
RE: ResMed Airsense11 auotset - no SDcard included?
My Airsense 11 auto did not come with an SD card (from DME). I'm currently using an Onn. 32 GB SDHC card from Walmart. For thr week I have been using it it has performed well. It worked right out of thr package. I would have preferred the SanDisk but they were out of stock and I was eager to get my data. One thing to look for is the lock switch which makes it easier to keep your computer from corrupting the data by trying to write on the card.
RE: ResMed Airsense11 auotset - no SDcard included?
Just be aware that the "Lock" switch is just a suggestion to the card reader. Some of the newer USB readers do not have the sensing micro-switch in them. This renders this feature useless. This can come back to bite you when you lock it and then use it in the CPAP. The CPAP card slot does have the sensor. If you are using it for OSCAR, there isn't any worries anyway. OSCAR only reads data and doesn't write anything.

I just got the same device, Airsense 11 Autoset (39485), with no sd card. I found this by searching for the details of what to get. Might be the DME provider, or what the insurance pays for. If mine won't send a card with a new mask, then I will get a cheap one. The machine is useless without it, even myair doesn't work with my device.
