I also think the machine is set to 'warm up' and I don't know if that is a good thing or a bad. Should I be turning off this feature and if so, how do I do that?

ResMed S10 warming up question ??
After using my 'gently used' ResMed Airsense S10 Autoset for Her for several weeks now, I find that each morning I have to refill the humidifier tank. I have the humidity level set at 5 which was basically a number I picked out of the blue sky. Is this normal for the machine to use that much water in one evening?
I also think the machine is set to 'warm up' and I don't know if that is a good thing or a bad. Should I be turning off this feature and if so, how do I do that?

Thank you for your help, it is nice to know how much water someone else's machine uses. I thought mine might be using too much.

RE: ResMed S10 warming up question ??
I would suspect that the more pressure you run, the more air flow going over the water, and hence, more evaporation. My pressure is 5 and 20, but it pretty much runs around 10-12. Another factor, is it dry in your room???
I have my setting at 8 and I while I only fill the tank half way, I always have plenty of water left over in the morning. |
