RE: Resmed/MyAir HAS To Be Full Of It??
Not that I want to defend these DMEs particularly. Since I have had my run ins with them too...I have a thread that I created on my own experiences. But I suspect the reason they have this policy is that many people that are on CPAP have no interest or desire in keeping track of their own treatment or improving on it. Not everyone takes an active interest in their own health as most of us do here on this forum.
Some people just want to "plug in and tune out." It is for those type of people that I suspect this system is set up for and of course they have no idea what type of person it is that walks in the door. So they have to err on the side of caution. Looking at it from that perspective, I guess I feel a bit more ambivalent about it.
