Sefam CPAP AHI reporting discrepancy.

Sefam CPAP AHI reporting discrepancy.
I am using the Sefam S Box CPAP and find there is a discrepancy in AHI readings provided by Sefam Analyze software and Sefam Access Lite phone app. Here are 4 days readings.
Analyze.  Access Lite
8.3               4.1
11.7            6.2
10.3            3.8
10.8            5.0
Has anyone else had this problem? Do you know why there is this difference?
I contacted Sefam but did not find their reply helpful. They said
"The discrepancy in the values must be due to the difference of the analysis parameters.
On the app, you cannot configure it, and it is by default :
Ramp/over the limit leak : EXCLUDEDCH/CA : Included.
We cannot comment further in regard to Sefam Analyze data, as this software is for clinician use only"
Thank you
Paul

Can your machine use Oscar? If so, download it. It's our free reporting program that can create wonderful charts that tell us much about each night's sleep. Then we can advise you on settings changes, etc. At the top of every page, there is a link to Oscar with all its instructions in the black ribbon. Good luck!

Paul,
Does the software you're using list the breakdown of the AHI.  The AHI should include Obstructives, Hypopnea and Clear Airway events.

I can't say for sure, so I'm just guessing, but is it possible that the Access Lite doesn't report Clear Airway events, whereas the Analyze does?  Hence the difference.

If you're able, use the attachment feature and post some of your results from the two software packages you are using.
We may be able to see the difference.

Hi OpalRose
Thank you for your reply. I have attached 3 screenshots pages of the Sefam Analyze for the night 21\22 Dec and screenshot from Sefam Access Lite (black background).
The Analyze excludes ramp and over leak limit.
The only information on the Acces Lite is the reply from Sefam I copied in my original post.
I am grateful to you for looking at these and look forward to your observations.

RE: Sefam CPAP AHI reporting discrepancy.
From image 1, it reports what should be Obstructive Apnea as OBS AH 4.0 events/hr & 24 overall events, what should be Central Apnea as CNT AH 13.5 events/hr & 81 events overall.

Centrals are over 3 times the Obstructive per hour, but 6 times more overall. I'm not familiar with this Sefam. If it's a monitor, this indicates to me your Central Apnea will be predominant, meaning the need to treat via something like the ResMed AirCurve 10 or 11 ASV. It may be called Lumis ASV or similar there.
