Sinus issues during therapy

Sinus issues during therapy
I'm quite happy with my CPAP therapy; never knew more sleep would get rid of major depression.  Anyway, I've been doing it for nearly six months now, and I've noticed that some time during the night I suddenly have a stuffy nose, to the point that I wake up gasping for breath.  I had nasal pillows, but they created horrible pressure sores in my nostrils, so I switched to a nasal mask, which has been tons better.  I have a machine with a built-in humidifier that I keep filled every night, and heated tubing.  I use nasal spray before I get settled in to sleep, but invariably I end up waking up and trying to breathe.  Help!

RE: Sinus issues during therapy
Nasal sprays are helpful, as is a nasal rinse with saline. I use Flonase and Azelastine for my year-round allergies. And I still get clogged sinuses at times, which is why I finally switched to a full-face mask.

You can consider turning up/down humidity and/or temp to see if it makes any difference. If you have a lot of allergens/pet dander where you live changing the filter regularly, cleaning the hose, mask, tank, etc, may all help.

It would be helpful to see an OSCAR chart to see if anything shows up that may help shed some light on things.
