SleepU / Viatom / Wellue Data File Name Change

RE: SleepU / Viatom / Wellue Data File Name Change
If that was the only data in your profile, delete the profile and create a new one. Then try an import. You MUST be using version 1.2.0, the latest release. Earlier versions required you to have CPAP data first for that day.

I haven't been able to import Viatom data into oscar for a few weeks and deleted the O2Ring_ from the start and it is still not recognising them. downgraded to V63 and will try tomorrow. Frustrating when they screw with something that was working well. I use autosync to transfer data from my samsung to windows to allow me to import

Can you provide a listing or screenshot of the renamed files?    What is your PC's OS?  Are you copying the original file (with the SleepU_ prefix) to the PC before renaming it?

If you wish, send me your PlusebitO2.db file and I will try to duplicate your problem.  Here is my dropbox folder link:  https://www.dropbox.com/request/lTcfSVh0DD2oPeTPxpuV

RE: SleepU / Viatom / Wellue Data File Name Change
Just reopened OSCAR after sending you the files and those renamed files are now showing when I removed O2Ring_ . I did send you my whole ViHealth Folder . OS is Win 10. So files are being read now. Nice to sort it out thanks to this thread. Wish Viatom just left it . Will try a batch file renamer now . Used this and worked well https://www.bulkrenameutility.co.uk/Download.php . Now have all data . Oscar also shows pulse change events , much more into than the Viatom App . This will be fantastic when I see my sleep doc in October. Had a few months wait. I noticed some nights there were high pulse change events and will check if I need an electrocardiogram (ECG or EKG) with the doc when I see her

RE: SleepU / Viatom / Wellue Data File Name Change
Just a note, Vihealth updated when I reverted to V63. The only way to stop updating on android was to turn all app auto update to off or root my device and sign it with an app to stop the single app you don’t want updating. I use auto sync for Dropbox on my android to transfer saved data to my PC. It isn’t much of a hassle to just rename each day as I go but would be nice to incorporate this in the next OSCAR update or maybe just a patch .I did see this mentioned in another thread http://www.apneaboard.com/forums/Thread-...e-Creation but would be nice for those with just Win 10.

Also an addition of being able to draw CPAP data from the SD wifi card while we're at it too.

I tripped over this on my Android about individual auto updates.    While in the Google Play Store, go to the app listing and enter it, like you are opening it or removing it.  In the upper right will be 3 vertical dots.  If you click on them, the last option displayed is a checkbox for app auto update.  Deselecting this will only affect this one app, and all your other apps will continue to update as needed.  As far as I know, the iOS doesn't have this option.  It is only a global all or none.

RE: SleepU / Viatom / Wellue Data File Name Change
I just ran your database file, PlusebitO2.db.   It contains 103 data files that encompass 10/17/2020@05:49:00 to 8/26/2021@05:43:13.  The good thing is the programmers of ViHealth only add the filename prefix after the data is extracted.  All the database names are just the 14 character date and time.

Here are some simple commands to remove the file's prefix.

Windows:
Code:
rename "O2Ring_*" "///////*"
Note: the forward slashes ("/") must be the same number as there are characters in the prefix.  Seven (7) in the case above.  A "SleepU_" prefix will be the same. You could enter the above text in a batch file (.bat) and put it in your data storage directory. You then would double-click the file name when ever you wanted to strip off the prefix.

Linux:
Code:
for file in O2Ring_*; do mv "$file" "${file#O2Ring_}";done;
The same goes for this command. Add a shebang (#!/bin/bash) to a file with the above command, make it executable, and you are good to go.

RE: SleepU / Viatom / Wellue Data File Name Change
As a Mac user I’m curious about what seems to be a difference here. I can’t seem to connect the O2Ring to my Mac in such a way that my Mac can extract files/data from the device. I’ve just used the iOS app on my iPad to export the binary file to a shared folder in the cloud which then gets accessed by OSCAR on my Mac.

I’m using OSCAR 1.2.0 on MacOS X,
My O2Ring shows as version 1.4.0, and ViHealth app on my iPad is updated to 2.28.0 (as of a day or so ago).

Is export of the binary file not available on Android? That’s too bad, because it is really easy in my iOS>>Mac setup.
