TiMax and Inspiration Time?

RE: TiMax and Inspiration Time?
Can we see a full screenshot? Can't see the values for inspiration time. From the flow limit graph it looks like you need more pressure, though.

RE: TiMax and Inspiration Time?
I think increasing inspiration time may help, but you need to resolve the flow limitation that causes it by increasing PS to 4.0. I think you can reduce minimum EPAP pressure to accommodate the increase in PS. I'd like to see you reduce EPAP min to 10.0, reduce maximum pressure to 20.0 and use PS 4.0 for now. You can increase TiMax to 2.6. Post a new chart after trying these settings, and we will be able to fine-tune further.

But I'm headed in at 0815 tomorrow for a TAVR procedure, so will be a few days before I can comply. Rest assured I will get back with you ASAP. Thanks Kindly. P.S.<reference> Beginning January 3, 2023 I had 291 days with AHI average 1.22 at a setting of PS 2.0 over 16.0-24.0. Six to eight months ago the sleep tech said the AHIs looked good but would like to see the pressure lowered. I have tinkered that idea but always reverted back after minor experimenting as it just made it worse. I believe this was one of the cases where the low AHI count is a 'cover-up' of the proper resolution.

Good luck and best wishes for your surgery. I think PS is your main issue to sort out on the sleep therapy when you get back. I hope resolving the aortic stenosis brings you good health and comfort. If you are admitted to the hospital and will sleep there, you may want to take the VPAP.

RE: TiMax and Inspiration Time?
Sleeprider: OK I'm back... Had an Edwards Sapien3 TAVR and all went very well. Energy felt better quickly and head feels clearer. I can't sleep in the hospital so have some catching up to do. I had punched in your original recommendations but missed the overnight readings last night as I had failed to get the card back in the unit. But, Yesterday afternoon I took a short snooze just to test it and that I do have. It is awake on both ends trying to drift off and laying there at the end deciding to get up or doze back off.. but that strangely is the smoothest on the chart. This BiPAP has developed a problem with an annoyingly problematic "click" on inhale and again at exhale so I'm going to send it for service. I have my original BiPAP (same) so I can replicate the settings and use it in the meantime. Will attach the charts for the 19th that I have.

There is still an abundance of periodic breathing or loop gain https://www.apneaboard.com/wiki/index.ph...entilation Scan through this member's thread that is trying EERS as a solution. https://www.apneaboard.com/forums/Thread...tive-Apnea

Read through the material. Need to digest it.. Amazon has the two parts needed for an F30. I will post the chart for tonight to get a total pattern for the session. THANKS

With this EERS set up on a Resmed F30 mask and say a 6 inch Corr-a-Flex tubing does the Whisper Swivel II get noisy so close to your ear? If it does it would be a Deal Breaker for me... |
