Tired Again

RE: Tired Again
The first chart was when things were going well and I felt great.

The 2nd chart is recent, where I am feeling tired again.

Thanks!

RE: Tired Again
Hi,

The new setting of 8-15, EPR 3, is comfortable. There are now some CAs. I hope they are ok. The tape I have been using for months is the cover roll stretch tape, a big piece.

But I still have not been feeling that great lately. I need to take a crash nap every day. Sometimes I am still groggy, like before CPAP.

(Other than sleep, my health is good. I am slim, walk every day, eat well and try to stay off the devices prior to bedtime.

You can see there was a spike last night around 3:40 which woke me up and I couldn't go back to sleep.

I will attach the last 3 nights.

RE: Tired Again
Hi Brennie,

AHI looks okay, you have some leak rate spikes but with how you're feeling tired and the scattered events (CAs and OAs) and your 99 percent pressure at 14.9cm I believe you should try continuous pressure mode to see if you have less arousals and micro arousals (most people do when switching over)-so please set your AS10 to 15cm in CPAP mode and leave EPR on @ 3.

Hi Phaleronic

For my clarification, you are suggesting continuous pressure at somewhere between 10 and 15 (epr3) ?

Thank you for your help,

Brennie

RE: Tired Again
The 10 appears to reference the ResMed 10 series machine only.

It looks like he wants you to do static 15 pressure with a full time EPR 3. You can get static 15 by CPAP mode and pressure 15, or AutoSet and Min and Max equals 15.

RE: Tired Again
Hello, Again.

Since the last time I posted, I have set my machine at APAP, min 10 and max 15.

I would ask you to please look at the last 2 nights. The AHI is varies, but both days I am so T.I.R.E.D. and have been for awhile. My leak rate varies, but I use the same wide tape every night.

What do you see that goes along with me being so tired, like before I started CPAP?

Thank you so much for input,

Brennie

RE: Tired Again
Here are my latest two nights. Please also take a look at my previous post.

I am looking for advice as to how to decrease the flow limits or whatever you think is keeping me groggy, and from feeling rested.

I am using the non-woven cover roll stretch tape, 2 inches wide.

Thank you so much.

Brennie
