I'm Back....
Well, after failing to successfully use my CPAP a few years ago, I decided to see an ENT and get a sleep study to see where I stand. My greatest fear was being unable to get to sleep with my head wired like a Rube Goldberg device, but fortunately, with a little help from XANAX, I was able to fall asleep, stay asleep except for a trip top the loo, and get the data to set my CPAP. The technologist indicated the setting would be 10 (can't recall the unit of measurement), but that is not far from the last setting I had of 7.
I'm hoping to be more successful this time, and just writing to encourage those worried about the sleep study to realize that it is not horrible. I was told that due to shortages caused by supply chain, chip shortages, and the issue with a certain brand of CPAP, I may not get my unit for a month or so. I'm hoping that my insurance will cover an Airsense 10 or 11.
Time will tell....
