RE: Switched to BIPAP
Hello, I've been using my bipap for a couple months now and don't really feel any better. I notice that the exhalation on my flow rate graph looks weird. It doesn't curve like my inhalation, it just spikes up and down. I was wondering what is causing that and if it is something I should be worried about?

RE: Switched to BIPAP
I think your best results were Vauto mode PS 4 at EPAP min 5.0, max 15.0 (you never exceeded 13). The exhale may be from the higher PS resulting in a higher tidal volume and more rapid exhale, but it's not a concern as far as I know. Your flow rate chart has always indicated periodic flow spikes that may be arousals or movement, but your respiratory issues are fully resolved. "Not feeling better" is a pretty ambiguous issue that can be from many possible issues outside the therapy, but very few of us enjoy 0.00 events night after night as you have apparently achieved. I could only wish. I think it comes down to too few hours of sleep and therapy. All of your graphs suggest 4.0 to less than 6.0 hours of therapy/sleep time. That's going to add up to feeling tired.
